RJD Leader Pankaj Yadav Shot in Munger, Condition Stable After Hospitalization

Munger: RJD state secretary Pankaj Yadav was shot by unidentified assailants while he was taking a morning stroll near the airport in Munger on Thursday morning. Yadav was hit in the chest by a bullet and was immediately rushed to Sadar Hospital for treatment. After receiving initial care, he was referred to National Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

As per the latest reports, his condition is now stable and out of danger.

The attack occurred when Yadav, following his daily routine, was walking near the airport area. According to witnesses, a group of bike-borne miscreants, who had been lying in wait, ambushed him and opened fire. In an attempt to flee and save himself, Yadav was struck by a bullet. The attackers fled the spot soon after carrying out the crime.

Upon receiving the information, police from the Safia Sarai, Qasim Bazaar, and Kotwali stations arrived at the spot and have since begun an investigation. Authorities are currently working to identify and apprehend the culprits behind this brazen attack.

The motive for the shooting remains unclear at this stage, and further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
