According to an official statement issued after the University’s Syndicate meeting on July 2, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vivekanand Singh has instructed Purnea College Principal Prof. Savitri Singh to take the required steps to begin the programme.
University Responds To Student Memorandum
The university said the decisions followed a memorandum submitted by the Samuhik Chhatra Sangharsh Samiti to Syndicate members before the meeting.
Media Officer Prof. Santosh Kumar Singh said the administration reviewed the students’ demands and provided updates on issues including the B.Ed. programme, convocation, PhD admissions, postgraduate enrolment, certificate distribution and the MBA course.
Convocation Preparations Underway
The university said the distribution of mark sheets, original degree certificates and provisional certificates is continuing.
Preparations are also under way to organise the university’s convocation ceremony, during which postgraduate and other eligible students will be awarded their degrees.

According to the university, undergraduate first-semester admissions have been conducted through the Samarth portal.
Enrolment for the second semester of postgraduate programmes is currently in progress. Admissions to the first semester of postgraduate courses will begin after the declaration of the undergraduate sixth-semester results.
