New Delhi/Patna: Purnia MP Pappu Yadav joined students protesting at Jantar Mantar on Friday, expressing support for their demands and calling for the resignation of the Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Addressing students and youth at the protest site, Yadav said he had stood with them from the beginning and would continue to support their concerns.
Backs Students’ Demands
Speaking at the protest, Yadav said there could be no compromise on issues concerning students’ interests.
“We have been with students and youth from the beginning. There can be no compromise on issues related to students’ interests. The education minister will have to resign,” he said.
Yadav did not elaborate on the specific issue that prompted his demand for the minister’s resignation.

The demonstration at Jantar Mantar drew students and youth raising concerns over education-related issues. Yadav’s participation added political support to the protest, with the MP reiterating his backing for the students’ demands.
