Patna: The Bihar government has transferred 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and three Bihar Police Service officers in a police department reshuffle, according to a notification issued by the Home Department.
Komal Meena has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (Rural), Patna. Puran Kumar Jha, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as the SP of the Vigilance Investigation Bureau.
Changes In Patna
Sushma Nagar, formerly an Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Patna, has been appointed as the SDPO (Law and Order), Patna.
Kundan Kumar, a Bihar Police Service officer and the former SP (Rural), Patna, has been appointed as SP (Administration), Patna.
Sonu Kumar Rai, who was serving as SP (Administration), Patna, has been transferred and appointed as SP (Rural), Vaishali.
New Postings In Districts
Aniket Kumar Dwivedi, formerly ASP, Samastipur, has been appointed as SDPO-1, Jehanabad. Deepti Monali, formerly ASP, Gaya, will take charge as SDPO, Jamui.
Hemant Singh, formerly ASP, East Champaran, has been appointed as SDPO (City), Bhagalpur. Saim Raza, who was serving as ASP, Bhagalpur, has also been given a new posting as SDPO, Bhagalpur.
Kartikeya AK, formerly ASP, West Champaran, has been appointed as SDPO, Muzaffarpur.
Ketan Ashok Ingole, formerly ASP, Darbhanga, has been posted as SDPO, Rajauli, Nawada. Prasanna Kumar MB, formerly ASP, Muzaffarpur, has been appointed as SDPO, Narkatiaganj.
EOU Officer Gets Supaul Posting
Dilip Kumar, formerly a DSP with the Economic Offences Unit (EOU), has been appointed as SDPO, Triveniganj, Supaul.
The latest orders will bring changes in policing responsibilities across several districts, including Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Jamui and Nawada.
