Dubai/Patna: Bihar has stepped up its global investment outreach with the inauguration of the Bihar Pavilion at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The pavilion was inaugurated by Bihar Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh along with Industries Department Secretary Kundan Kumar in the presence of senior government officials and industry stakeholders.
Bihar is participating in the 15th edition of AIM Congress, being held from September 7 to 9, with the objective of presenting the state as an emerging and investment-ready destination to global investors, businesses and policymakers.
Bihar pitches growing industrial ecosystem
Speaking at the inauguration, Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh highlighted Bihar’s expanding industrial ecosystem and emerging opportunities across priority sectors.
She said the state was committed to facilitating investments and building partnerships with businesses globally.
“Through our engagements at AIM Congress, we look forward to building meaningful partnerships and converting investor interest into concrete investment opportunities for the State,” Singh said.
Industries Department Secretary Kundan Kumar said AIM Congress provides Bihar with an important international platform to present its evolving industrial ecosystem and investment opportunities.
“With a growing industrial land bank, improving infrastructure, sector-specific policies and a strong focus on ease of doing business, Bihar is well-positioned to welcome investments across diverse sectors,” Kumar said.
Policies and incentives on display
The Bihar Pavilion is showcasing the state’s industrial infrastructure, investment opportunities, sectoral strengths, policy incentives and investor-oriented reforms.
Visitors and potential investors are being provided an overview of Bihar’s evolving industrial landscape and opportunities across various sectors.
Among the key policies being highlighted are the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package, 2025; Bihar Semiconductor Policy, 2026; Bihar Global Capability Centre (GCC) Policy, 2026; Bihar Textile and Leather Policy (Amended), 2022; Bihar Tourism Policy; and IT Policy.
The state is also highlighting its expanding industrial land bank, plug-and-play infrastructure and improving connectivity as part of its investment proposition.
Delegation led by Industries Minister
The Bihar delegation at the Dubai event is being led by Shreyasi Singh and includes Kundan Kumar, Secretary, Department of Industries, and Mukul Kumar Gupta, Director of Industries, along with other officials.
Through its participation in AIM Congress, Bihar is seeking to showcase its policy ecosystem and investment opportunities to international investors and explore partnerships aimed at supporting industrial growth in the state.
