Patna/Buxar: Nodal Secretary for Buxar and Secretary of the Energy Department, Ajay Yadav, inspected flood-affected areas of Buxar on September 7 and assessed the situation on the ground.
Yadav, who is also Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited, interacted with local residents to understand their concerns and immediate requirements.
He sought updates from officials on electricity supply and the availability of other essential services in the affected areas.
Review Of Relief And Rescue Operations
Following the field inspection, Yadav chaired a disaster management review meeting at the District Collectorate.

Officials reviewed the prevailing flood situation, relief and rescue operations, and the availability of essential facilities for affected residents.
Yadav directed departments to work in close coordination and prioritise essential services and assistance for people affected by the floods.
Officials Asked To Monitor Situation
The Nodal Secretary instructed officials to ensure that necessary assistance reaches affected people without delay and that coordinated action is taken during emergencies.
He also directed officials to continuously monitor flood-affected areas and take immediate measures according to the evolving situation.
District Magistrate Sahila, along with senior officials from the district administration and concerned departments, attended the review meeting.
