Patna: The Entrepreneurship Club of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) organised a master class on “Startup Ideation and Scale Up” on September 26, 2026, to introduce students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business development and startup growth.
The programme was held under the aegis of the Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Centre (MVEIC) – Business Incubation Centre, as part of an Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) activity. 
Experts Share Insights On Startup Development
The session featured Antara Mitra, an educator and startup community leader, and Anupam Priyadarshini, a business and management consultant, entrepreneurship trainer, and founder and chief executive officer of NNI Pvt. Ltd.
The experts discussed identifying business opportunities, understanding market needs, developing viable business ideas and scaling entrepreneurial ventures.
They also highlighted the importance of market validation, strategic planning, resilience and continuous learning in building sustainable businesses.
Focus On Practical Entrepreneurship
The speakers encouraged students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying real-life problems and exploring innovative solutions that could be transformed into viable startups.
The session emphasised the need to understand market demand and assess the feasibility of business ideas before taking them forward.
The experts also discussed the challenges involved in scaling a venture and the importance of adapting business strategies to changing market conditions.
Programme Coordination
The master class was organised and coordinated by Prof. Alok John, Dean of National, International Collaborations and Consultancy Services (NICCS), coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Club, and director of the MVEIC – Business Incubation Centre.
The initiative aimed to familiarise students with the practical aspects of entrepreneurship and encourage them to explore startup opportunities.
