Patna: An Antakshari Competition was organised for students of the IARI Patna Hub as part of the ongoing Reform Utsav-cum-Hindi Fortnight-2026 at the ICAR–Research Complex for Eastern Region (ICAR-RCER), Patna, on Monday.
Three teams participated in the competition, which featured rounds based on Hindi film songs, quick recall, creativity, team spirit and general knowledge related to Hindi cinema and major film awards.
Judges Assess Student Performances
The competition was adjudged by Dr Kamal Sarma, Head, Division of Livestock & Fisheries Management; Dr Shivani, Principal Scientist; Dr Abhishek Kumar, Scientist (Senior Scale); and Umesh Kumar Mishra, Senior Technical Assistant (Hindi Translator).
The judges appreciated the performances of the participating teams and highlighted the role of such activities in promoting Hindi language skills, communication, cultural awareness and teamwork among students.
Hindi Learning Through Interactive Activities
Dr Anup Das, Director, ICAR-RCER, Patna, said interactive activities make learning Hindi more enjoyable, meaningful and participatory for students.
He emphasised that such initiatives can strengthen students’ interest in Hindi while encouraging creativity, confidence, communication skills and team spirit.
Winners To Be Felicitated
The teams securing the first, second and third positions will be felicitated during the Closing-cum-Prize Distribution Ceremony scheduled for September 29, 2026.
