East Central Railway Prepares for Post-Chhath Rush: GM Inspects Stations, Reviews Passenger Facilities and Security
Patna: The General Manager of East Central Railway, Chhatrasal Singh, conducted an inspection of Patna and Danapur stations on Friday evening to assess preparations for the post- Chhath passenger rush, focusing on passenger convenience and security. The inspection reviewed facilities set up specifically for the festival, including holding areas designated for passengers, which aim to manage increased crowds and provide essential services.
In anticipation of the surge in travelers following Chhath Puja, East Central Railway has introduced additional measures to accommodate passengers heading to various states and cities. Special trains have been arranged, and holding areas with seating and other amenities have been constructed at stations. Additional security personnel have been deployed to ensure safety, with directives to maintain continuous services on trains and at stations throughout the festival period.
Chhatrasal Singh was accompanied by Danapur Division’s Divisional Railway Manager, Shri Jayant Kumar Chaudhary, along with senior officials from both the headquarters and the division during the inspection.
