Patna: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has announced recruitment for Senior Resident positions through a series of walk-in interviews scheduled for April 16, 17 and 18.
According to the official notification, eligible candidates with an MD, MS, DNB or DM degree from a recognised institution in India, along with other prescribed qualifications, may appear for the selection process.
The upper age limit for applicants is 45 years. Age relaxation will apply for reserved categories in line with government norms: five years for SC and ST candidates, three years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for persons with disabilities (PwD).
Candidates from the general and OBC categories are required to submit a demand draft of Rs 1,500, while SC, ST and EWS applicants must pay Rs 1,200. The institute has stated that candidates who fail to submit the prescribed fee will not be allowed to participate in the interview process.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs 67,700.
The interviews will begin at 10am, with candidates required to report by 9am at the designated venue. Applicants have also been instructed to carry all relevant documents for verification at the time of interview.
