Patna: Indian cricketer Akash Deep is set to enter a new phase of his life as he prepares to marry Akshita on June 24. The wedding ceremony will be held in Varanasi, while several traditional pre-wedding rituals will take place in his ancestral village in Bihar.
The fast bowler, who hails from Sasaram in Rohtas district and has represented India in 10 Test matches, recently met Shreyasi Singh and presented her with his wedding invitation.
Wedding Celebrations to Begin on June 21
According to family sources, the wedding festivities will commence with the Tilak ceremony on June 21. The Mehendi ceremony is scheduled for June 22, followed by the Haldi ceremony on June 23.
The main wedding ceremony will take place in Varanasi on June 24, while the customary rituals will be conducted at Akash Deep’s ancestral village, Baddi, in Rohtas district. Family members, relatives and villagers are expected to participate in large numbers.

Akshita, the bride-to-be, is a resident of Manikpur village in the Dehri-on-Sone area of Rohtas district. The wedding has generated considerable excitement among residents of the region, who view the occasion as a moment of pride for the district.
