Gayaji: Passengers travelling through Gaya International Airport may face changes to their travel plans as IndiGo Airlines is set to partially revise its flight operations from July 3.
According to sources, the airline will implement a temporary schedule change that will remain in effect until October. Under the revised arrangement, IndiGo flights will no longer operate daily from Gaya as they currently do.
As per the new schedule, no IndiGo flights will operate from Gaya International Airport on Mondays and Fridays each week. Flight services on these two days will remain completely suspended during the period of the revised schedule.
The change is expected to particularly impact passengers travelling between Gaya and Delhi, as well as those connecting to other major destinations through IndiGo’s network. Frequent travellers will now need to plan their journeys in accordance with the modified timetable.
Sources associated with the airline have advised passengers to check the latest flight schedules before booking tickets or making travel arrangements. Doing so could help avoid inconvenience arising from last-minute schedule changes.
The revised operating pattern is reportedly a temporary measure and is expected to remain in place until October. Airline sources indicate that regular daily operations may resume thereafter, although the final decision will depend on IndiGo’s operational requirements and scheduling plans.
As of now, neither IndiGo Airlines nor the Gaya International Airport authorities have issued an official announcement regarding the change. Passengers are advised to monitor the airline’s official schedule and future notifications for confirmed updates.
