Araria: A big job camp will be held on September 15 in Araria district to help unemployed youth find jobs. The camp will take place at the District Employment Office and Joint Labour Bhavan. Two well-known companies, MRF Tyres and Flipkart, will hire candidates for their units in Sangareddy, Telangana.
MRF Tyres will recruit trainees for its plant, while Flipkart will hire pickers and packers for its fulfilment centre. These jobs will involve production, packaging and logistics work. Youth from any district in Bihar can participate in this camp.
The age limit for candidates is 18 to 30 years, and they must have passed at least 12th standard. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs 18,000. To attend the camp, candidates must bring their Aadhaar card, passport-size photographs and photocopies of their educational and other important documents. Selection will be based on interviews conducted by company representatives. There is no fee to participate in this camp.
Similar job camps have been organised earlier in Buxar and Saharsa, where hundreds of youth were selected for private sector jobs. The District Employment Office will only act as a facilitator in this event, while the companies will be fully responsible for the jobs and conditions of employment.
Officials have asked interested youth to reach the venue on time and carry all required documents. This job camp is part of Bihar government’s effort to provide better employment opportunities with the support of private companies, giving local youth a chance to build their careers.
