Bhagalpur: Indian Railways, through IRCTC, is starting a special religious tour train from Bhagalpur on March 11, 2026. This train is called the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train and it will run for 9 days and 8 nights. The aim of this tour is to make religious travel easy and affordable for people of East Bihar and nearby areas. Everything will be included in one package, such as train travel, hotel stay, meals, local transport and temple visits, so devotees do not have to worry about planning anything.

During this journey, passengers will visit six major pilgrimage places in India. These include four famous Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva – Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain), Omkareshwar (Madhya Pradesh), Nageshwar (Gujarat) and Somnath (Gujarat). Along with this, the train will also take devotees to Dwarkadhish Temple and Bet Dwarka, which are closely connected with Lord Krishna. The trip will also include visits to the beautiful Akshardham temples in Ahmedabad and Delhi, making the journey both spiritual and cultural.

The train will start from Bhagalpur and will pass through Jamalpur, Kiul, Patna, Gaya, Sasaram and Mughalsarai (Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction). From there, it will travel towards Central and Western India to reach the pilgrimage sites. The tour will end on March 19, 2026. According to IRCTC officials, around 200 people have already booked their seats, showing strong interest in this special religious tour.

IRCTC has created three travel options to suit different budgets. The Sleeper class package costs Rs 18,850 per person, the 3 AC package costs Rs 33,995, and the 2 AC package costs Rs 41,990. All three options include train tickets, hotel accommodation, pure vegetarian food, local bus transport, and tour guides. Passengers will receive morning tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner during the journey, and buses will take them from stations to the temples.

There is also a special group offer. If 10 or more people book together, IRCTC will give them a special gift. This makes the tour ideal for families, friends and religious groups. With comfort, safety and devotion all in one package, this Bharat Gaurav Train is expected to become a memorable spiritual journey for hundreds of pilgrims.
