Bharat Gaurav Train To Depart From Bettiah On September 1, Boarding Available From Gaya And Other Stations

The eight-night, nine-day IRCTC pilgrimage will cover five Jyotirlingas, Sai Baba Temple in Shirdi and the Ellora Caves.

Patna: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) will operate a Bharat Gaurav tourist train from Bettiah on September 1, 2026, under its Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Scheme.

The eight-night, nine-day journey, offered under package code EZBG-32, will take passengers to major religious and tourist destinations, including five Jyotirlingas, the Shri Sai Baba Temple in Shirdi and the Ellora Caves.

Jyotirlinga And Sai Darshan

According to IRCTC, the pilgrimage will cover Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar Jyotirlingas in Ujjain, Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga in Nashik and Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The itinerary also includes a visit to the Shri Sai Baba Temple in Shirdi and the famous Ellora Caves, giving passengers an opportunity to explore the region’s religious, historical and cultural heritage.

Boarding Available From Multiple Stations

IRCTC said passengers will be able to board and de-board the train at several major stations in Bihar and adjoining areas.

The stations include Bettiah, Sugauli, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Dildarnagar, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction and Prayagraj Chhivki.

Around 160 Seats Available

Around 340 seats have already been booked for the journey, while approximately 160 seats remain available, according to IRCTC.

The remaining seats include 120 in economy class and 40 in standard class. No seats are currently available in the comfort category.

Fares Start At Rs 18,160

The fare has been fixed at Rs 18,160 per passenger for economy class, Rs 32,550 for standard class and Rs 39,425 for comfort class.

The package includes train travel, hotel accommodation, vegetarian meals, local transportation, sightseeing, security and travel insurance.

IRCTC said arrangements for transporting passengers between the train and designated religious destinations will also be covered under the package.

A group discount facility is available for passengers travelling together. Interested travellers can contact the IRCTC 24-hour helpline for booking and package-related information.
