Patna: Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is set to witness the collaboration of Bhojpuri Dabang with India Rising in its upcoming 10th season. This time, the renowned actor and Member of Parliament, Manoj Tiwari, will lead the Bhojpuri Dabang team, promoting it under the banner of India Rising. The announcement was made in Delhi during an event attended by the director of India Rising, Kanishk Sheel, along with Sushil Sharma, Sushil Malik, and Rahul Mishra, in the presence of Bhojpuri Dabang’s captain Manoj Tiwari and veteran actor-MP Ravi Kishan.
The rapidly expanding Indian sports entertainment market is taking a stride forward with India Rising’s involvement in CCL. Founding director and CEO of CCL, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, former cricketer and Bhojpuri Dabangs’ head coach Manvinder Bisla, team member Khesari Lal Yadav (actor, singer), and actors Akshara Singh, and Shubhi Sharma also graced the occasion. The brand ambassadors for Bhojpuri Dabang include Amrapali Dubey, Akshara Singh, Poonam Dubey, Pakhi Hegde, Shubhi Sharma, Raksha Gupta, and Sapna Choudhary.
Expressing his anticipation for the collaboration, Captain Manoj Tiwari stated, “In the 10th season of CCL, we envision a new future for Bhojpuri Dabang. Last time, we secured the second position in the finals, and this year, we aim to go further with new honors, fresh perspectives, and energy. CCL will kick off on February 23, 2024, in Sharjah, followed by a four-week journey across six different Indian cities in February and March.
