Patna: The Bihar unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a new list of office-bearers as part of a major organisational restructuring in the state unit. The appointments were made under the directives of BJP National President Nitin Nabin.
The party released the names of new State Vice Presidents, General Secretaries, Secretaries, and presidents of various Morchas aimed at strengthening the organisation ahead of upcoming political activities in the state.
Fourteen Leaders Appointed State Vice Presidents
According to the official list issued by the party, 14 leaders have been appointed as State Vice Presidents.
The newly appointed vice presidents include former MLAs Haribhushan Thakur Bachol, Rakesh Kumar, Santosh Pathak, Manoj Kumar Singh, Pawan Jaiswal, and Pranav Kumar Yadav.
Other leaders appointed to the post are Anamika Paswan, Shobha Singh, Santosh Ranjan Rai, Nand Prasad Chauhan, Anil Thakur, Mukesh Sharma, Sheela Kushwaha, and Balram Mandal.

Five General Secretaries Named
The BJP has also appointed five leaders as State General Secretaries. Those named to the post are Saroj Ranjan Patel, Dhanraj Sharma, Preeti Shekhar, Nitin Abhishek, and Rajesh Jha, also known as Raju Jha.
In addition, the party announced 14 State Secretaries as part of the organisational expansion.
The leaders appointed as State Secretaries include Sushma Sahu, Janmejay Kumar Singh, Ragini Rani, Kumar Raghavendra, Prabhakar Mishra, Anjani Nishad, Manoj Chaudhary, Mukesh Singh Kushwaha, Seema Jha, Sarla Rajat, Sunil Ram, Sanjay Kumar (Munna), Mukesh Sharma from Muzaffarpur, and Diwakar Singh.
Treasurer and Administrative Responsibilities Assigned
The party also announced appointments related to financial and administrative responsibilities within the state unit.
MLA Trivikram Narayan Singh has been appointed State Treasurer, while Rajesh Sinha and Ankur Gupta have been named Joint Treasurers.
Akshay Kumar has been assigned the role of State Headquarters In-charge, and Vinay Kesari has been appointed Office Secretary.
New Morcha Presidents Announced
The BJP also declared the presidents of its various Morchas as part of efforts to strengthen outreach among different social groups.
Jitendra Singh has been appointed President of the BJP Yuva Morcha, while MLA Nisha Singh will head the Mahila Morcha.
Ram Sumiran Singh has been given charge of the Kisan Morcha. Pramod Chandravanshi has been appointed President of the OBC Morcha, MLA Sujit Paswan will lead the Scheduled Castes Morcha, Niranjan Panjiyar Tharu has been named chief of the Scheduled Tribes Morcha, and Mohd. Mahbul Haq has been appointed President of the Minority Morcha.
