Patna: The Bihar government will hold a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, January 13, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, with multiple high-priority proposals expected to be approved.
The session will be attended by both Deputy Chief Ministers, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with all other cabinet ministers. Scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. in the cabinet room at the Chief Secretariat, the meeting is being closely watched for potential major policy decisions.
On January 8, the Cabinet Secretariat issued a formal notice of the meeting. The communication, signed by Special Secretary Arvind Kumar Verma, was sent to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers, all ministers, the Principal Secretary to the Governor, the Development Commissioner, Principal Secretaries of Finance and Revenue Departments, and other senior bureaucrats. Copies were also circulated to officials across departments, including IT, electricity, police, and management divisions, ensuring full administrative coordination.

Officials have indicated that the cabinet is likely to approve key developmental and administrative measures, though the exact agenda has not been publicly disclosed. Analysts and political observers are watching closely, anticipating that the session could shape governance priorities for the coming months.
