Patna: The Bihar government has announced a major overseas employment opportunity for caregivers, with 5,000 vacancies available in Israel offering a monthly salary of over Rs 1,50,000, along with free food and accommodation.
The recruitment drive is being facilitated under the Department of Labour Resources through regional employment offices including Chapra and Nawada. The available position is for Home Based Caregivers for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), with a renewable contract of two years.
Eligible candidates must be between 25 and 45 years of age, have passed at least Class 10, and possess intermediate-level English language skills. Minimum height and weight requirements are 1.5 meters and 45 kilograms respectively. Both male and female applicants are welcome.
Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualification criteria:

A diploma in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Nurse Assistance, or Midwifery, or a minimum 990-hour caregiving course.

Completion of GDA, ANM, GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or Post B.Sc Nursing.
Additional conditions state that applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, have never worked in Israel previously, and should not have immediate family members residing or working there.
