
Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has announced administrative approval for widening and strengthening the Nanaura–Mohammadpur road in Darbhanga district.
The project, approved for 2025-26, will cover a 6.84 km stretch at an estimated cost of Rs 25,55,24,000. Samrat said the NDA government is prioritising road construction to improve infrastructure across the state.
He added that the current narrow road has been causing traffic hindrance. Its widening and strengthening will ease transportation for local residents, support economic and social development in the area, and create employment opportunities.
