Patna: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav sounded the poll bugle for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar on Wednesday, asserting that “only the lotus will bloom” as he campaigned for BJP candidates ahead of the upcoming state elections.
Yadav, who attended the nomination of BJP’s Kumhrar Assembly candidate Sanjay Gupta at the Patna Collectorate, said the NDA would once again form the government under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He added that Bihar’s growth would continue under the combined leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.
Responding to RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav’s claims of victory, the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said, “Every party makes claims during elections, but like every time, the lotus will bloom again. The people of Bihar know who can ensure stable and development-oriented governance.”
Mohan Yadav also underscored BJP’s organisational strength, calling it “the world’s largest political party,” and stressed that a united NDA government at the Centre and in Bihar would accelerate the state’s development.
Later in the day, Mohan Yadav addressed a public meeting in Bikram to support NDA candidate Siddharth Saurabh. He lauded Saurabh’s developmental work and expressed confidence in his re-election.
