Patna: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced new recruitment opportunities across various state government departments, including the Health Department, offering 12th pass candidates a chance to secure government employment in 2025.
According to the official notification, a total of 69 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Among these are positions for Filaria Inspectors in the Bihar Health Department. The role involves diagnosing, monitoring, and reporting cases of filarial disease, a chronic mosquito-borne illness that remains a public health concern in several districts of the state.
The application process, which reopened on October 15, will remain active until November 25. Candidates who missed the earlier opportunity can now apply through the official website — onlinebssc.com.
How to apply
Applicants must visit the BSSC website and click on the “Second Inter-Level Combined Competitive Examination” link. After completing the registration process, candidates should log in, fill out the application form carefully, upload necessary documents along with their photograph and signature, and pay the prescribed application fee online. A printed copy of the submitted form is advised for future reference.
Eligibility and pay scale
Candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Those selected will receive a salary under Pay Level 4, ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 35,955, along with standard government allowances and benefits.
