Patna: The Bihar government has announced a series of measures aimed at strengthening emergency healthcare services, including the deployment of 100 new ambulances on national and state highways, expansion of trauma care facilities and the phased installation of CCTV cameras in government hospitals.
Health Minister Nishant Kumar said the new ambulances are intended to improve emergency response times and ensure faster medical assistance for people injured in road accidents.
Trauma Care Network To Be Expanded
The minister said the government is working to strengthen Bihar’s trauma care system as part of efforts to improve treatment for accident victims. The plan includes the development of 11 Level-3 trauma centres and five Level-3 hospitals to expand specialised emergency care across the state.
CCTV Monitoring In Government Hospitals
