Patna: In a significant administrative reshuffle ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Nitish Kumar government has transferred 11 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across the state. Notifications regarding the transfers were issued on Friday, reflecting ongoing adjustments in key bureaucratic positions.
Chandrima Atri has been moved from her role as Deputy Development Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the Purnia District Council to the post of Special Officer in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department in Patna. Garima Lohia has been appointed Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Paliganj in Patna, while Tushar Kumar will serve as SDO of Muzaffarpur East. Anirudh Pandey takes charge as SDO of Mohania in Kaimur, and Kritika Mishra has been posted as SDO of Pakadiyal in East Champaran.
Other notable transfers include Akanksha Anand as SDO of Barsoi (Katihar), Pradhuman Singh Yadav as SDO of Gogri (Khagaria), and Rohit Kardam as SDO of Sheikhpura. Anjali Sharma, Shipra Vijaykumar Chaudhary, and Neha Kumari have been appointed as Special Officers in the Social Welfare, Education, and Health Departments, respectively, all based in Patna.
