Patna: Bihar’s employment sector is witnessing a surge as the Central Selection Board of Constable Recruitment (CSBC) has announced a major recruitment drive for 4,128 positions, including Bihar Prohibition Constable, Kakshapal (Jail Warder), and Mobile Squad Constable. The application process opens today, and will run until November 5. Interested candidates can apply via the official website csbc.bihar.gov.in.
The recruitment includes 1,603 posts for Prohibition Constables, 2,417 posts for Kakshapal, and 108 positions for Mobile Squad Constables. Educational requirements vary by role. Candidates for Prohibition and Mobile Squad Constables must have completed 10+2, or hold a Maulvi certificate from the Bihar Madrasa Board, or a Shastri (with English) or Acharya (without English) certificate from the Bihar Sanskrit Board, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the state government.
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 25 years, though the upper age limit for Kakshapal candidates is 23. Age relaxations will apply for candidates from reserved categories. All applicants are required to pay a Rs 100 application fee.
The selection process consists of three stages: a written examination, a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and document verification.
