Patna: A total of 3,659 candidates were selected for employment on the second day of the “Three-Day State-Level Health and Allied Sectors Job Fair 2026,” organised at Gyan Bhawan in Patna under the Bihar Skill Development Mission of the Department of Youth, Employment and Skill Development.
The selections included 3,050 male and 609 female candidates, according to officials associated with the event. Among the selected male candidates, 747 were offered overseas job opportunities through participating international recruitment agencies.
Strong Participation from Across Bihar
The job fair witnessed participation from youth across multiple districts of Bihar, including candidates from remote areas. Many applicants reached the venue after completing registration through QR-based systems introduced for streamlined entry and application processing.

Officials said the fair has drawn significant interest from job seekers aiming to build careers in the health and allied sectors, with steady footfall recorded across both days of the event.
Participation of Leading Healthcare Institutions
A range of national healthcare institutions and hospital chains took part in the recruitment drive, including Medanta, Apollo, Paras, Ruban, Akhand Jyoti and Portea. Representatives conducted interviews and screening processes at designated counters within the venue.
In addition, organisations facilitating overseas employment opportunities such as Blue Seas Talent LLP, Magic Billion, 2 Coms Jobs Academy, Alpha Manpower, Care 24 and Ampersand International Mobility also participated in the fair.

Fair to Continue till May 27
The three-day job fair will continue until May 27, 2026, with further recruitment rounds expected across participating companies. Officials said the initiative is aimed at improving employment access for skilled youth in the health and allied sectors across the state.
