Patna: The Bihar government has directed officials across the state to compile and submit comprehensive details of teachers and non-teaching staff employed in non-government, grant-aided Madrasas for uploading to the e-Shiksha Kosh portal. Officials have been given three days to complete the exercise.
According to the Directorate of Secondary Education, the initiative is intended to digitise employee records and strengthen the management of personnel information through a centralised platform.
What Has the Government Directed?
The Directorate of Secondary Education has instructed all District Education Officers (DEOs) and District Programme Officers (Establishment) to collect complete details of teachers and non-teaching staff working in grant-aided Madrasas.
According to an official communication, the information must be submitted within three days after being compiled in the prescribed format.
Why Has the Direction Been Issued Again?
The Directorate said similar instructions had been issued earlier, but several districts did not comply with the directive.
In view of the incomplete response, officials have now been asked to furnish the pending information within the stipulated deadline to ensure statewide implementation.
How Will the Data Be Processed?
According to the directive issued by Special Director (Secondary Education) Sachindra Kumar, the details of all eligible employees will be prepared in an Excel sheet and forwarded to the Bihar State Madrasa Board.
The Madrasa Board will then upload the information to the e-Shiksha Kosh portal, creating a central digital database of employees.
Unique IDs to Be Generated
The government has also decided that every teacher and non-teaching employee covered under the exercise will be assigned a unique identification number on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal.
Officials said the unique IDs are expected to facilitate digital record management and improve administrative monitoring of employee data.
