Patna: The Bihar men’s baseball team for the 37th Senior National Women and Men’s Baseball Championship, scheduled to be held from December 26 to 30 in Sangrur, Punjab, has been declared. The Baseball Association of Bihar’s president, Diljeet Khanna, announced that Monu Kumar from Saran will lead the team as captain, while Harsh Kumar from Samastipur will serve as vice-captain.
Vice President Sanjay Kumar, SN Raju, International Baseball Player and Treasurer Rupak Kumar, along with national players Bipin Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Rajesh Kumar Chintu, and Vijay Kumar, have extended their best wishes for the team’s success. The team will depart for Sangrur on December 25 via the Shaheed Express from Hajipur.
The team comprises Ankit Kumar, Shivam Kumar, Avinash Kumar Shukla, Monu Kumar (Captain), Harsh Kumar (Vice Captain), Harshit Kumar Singh, Umang Kumar Singh, Aditya Kumar Yadav, Akshay Kumar, Kashif, Mohammad Saif, Abhishek Kumar, Mohammad Sariq, Guddu Kumar, Ayush Shah, Shanu Shah, Adarsh Kumar, and Tushar Kumar. The coach for the team is Pramod Kumar, and the manager is Vivek Kumar.
The Bihar Baseball Association expressed confidence in the team’s ability to perform well and bring glory to the state at the national level.
