Speaking at a programme organised to mark Sant Ravidas Jayanti, the Chief Minister said the government wants to improve the quality of education in Bihar so that students no longer need to leave the state in search of better academic opportunities.
Ministers and MLAs Asked to Lead by Example
The Chief Minister appealed to ministers and legislators to take a pledge to enrol their children in Bihar’s model schools within the next one to two years.
He said the move would strengthen public confidence in government schools and encourage more parents to choose them for their children’s education.
According to the Chief Minister, the government is developing model schools equipped with quality teaching, improved infrastructure and a better academic environment.
Focus on Quality Education, Not Just Infrastructure

He said the government aims to create an education ecosystem that enables students to prepare for competitive examinations without leaving Bihar.
Strengthening government schools, he added, would particularly benefit poor and middle-class families while reducing educational migration.
Online Learning App to Launch Before August 15
The Chief Minister has instructed the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to launch a dedicated online learning application before August 15.
The proposed platform will provide students with access to quality teaching through digital classrooms, particularly benefiting those who lack access to experienced teachers in their local areas.
Officials said the app is expected to offer flexible learning options, allowing students to study according to their schedules and access academic support online.
Government Plans Comprehensive Education Reforms
The Bihar government said it is working to improve both school education and competitive examination preparation through model schools and digital learning initiatives.
