Patna: Bihar’s Revenue and Land Reforms Department has concluded a month-long revenue drive, receiving a record 4,420,152 applications from citizens across the state.
The campaign, which ran from August 16 to September 20, aimed to update and correct land records. The bulk of submissions—3,343,552—were requests for correcting errors in land documents. Other applications included 568,751 for converting offline land records to the digital format, 292,020 for succession registration, and 247,029 for partition registration.
Officials said that while the drive has ended, all services will continue to be available online through the Biharbhumi portal. The Dakhal-Khiraj portal, for transfer of ownership, and the Parimarjan Plus portal, for corrections, will remain accessible 24/7.
The department described the campaign as a success, highlighting the public’s enthusiastic participation and the ongoing efforts to digitise and streamline land record management in the state.
