Patna: Bihar is showcasing its semiconductor and electronics manufacturing potential at SEMICON India 2026, with the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, participating in the three-day event being held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, from September 17 to September 19.
The event is being organised by the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA). The Bihar delegation is being led by Manoj Kumar Singh, Resident Commissioner, Bihar, and Aman Samir, Director, MSME, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar.
Through its participation, Bihar is presenting its emerging semiconductor and electronics manufacturing capabilities, policy support and investment opportunities to national and international industry stakeholders.
Roundtable With US And Japanese Stakeholders
As part of SEMICON India 2026, a roundtable discussion with stakeholders from the United States and Japan was organised to explore opportunities for investment, technology collaboration and partnerships in the semiconductor and electronics sector.
The discussions focused on Bihar’s industrial ecosystem and policy framework, along with opportunities to develop semiconductor and allied manufacturing capabilities in the state.
B2G Meetings With Investors
The Bihar delegation also participated in Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings with investors, industry representatives and other stakeholders.
The meetings focused on potential investments, sector-specific opportunities and government facilitation available for businesses looking to explore opportunities in Bihar.
Semiconductor Policy 2026 Showcased
Bihar’s Semiconductor Policy 2026 is being showcased at the event along with the state’s growing industrial infrastructure and investor-focused approach.
The policy and infrastructure are being presented to highlight opportunities for investment and industrial collaboration in semiconductor and allied sectors.

Through its participation in SEMICON India 2026, Bihar is seeking to strengthen its engagement with the global semiconductor industry.
The state is exploring avenues for investment, technology partnerships and industrial collaboration in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, according to the Department of Industries.
