Patna: The Bihar government has launched a series of SIPB Facilitation Camps aimed at accelerating investment approvals and resolving pending applications filed by businesses across the state.
Organised by the Industries Department, the initiative seeks to improve the ease of doing business by providing investors with faster access to government services and addressing procedural delays in project clearances and financial incentives.
Camps To Be Held Across Bihar
The facilitation camps are being conducted from July 1 to July 9, covering investors from different districts of Bihar.
According to the department, officials from the concerned government agencies are jointly reviewing pending applications and investor grievances to expedite approvals and resolve outstanding issues.
First Camp Held For Patna Investors
The first camp was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Mukul Kumar Gupta, Director of Industries and Member Secretary of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) Secretariat.
Conducted in a hybrid format, the programme enabled investors from Patna district to participate both in person and through video conferencing.
Officials said the camp focused on applications awaiting Stage-I clearances, financial incentive claims and subsidy-related approvals that had been delayed because of incomplete documentation or pending requirements on the Single Window Clearance Portal.
Case-By-Case Review
According to Gupta, representatives from 48 industrial units participated in the first facilitation camp.
Officials reviewed each pending application individually, provided guidance to investors on completing procedural requirements and initiated action to facilitate the timely disposal of cases.
The department said the initiative is intended to reduce procedural bottlenecks while ensuring greater transparency and time-bound delivery of services.

More Districts To Be Covered
The next SIPB Facilitation Camp is scheduled for July 2 and will cover investors from Muzaffarpur and Bhojpur districts.
The department said similar reviews of pending applications and investor grievances will be undertaken during subsequent camps across the state.
Industrial units whose cases were reviewed during the first camp included Balmukund Concast Pvt. Ltd., SPD Snacks Industries LLP, Vitra India Glass Pvt. Ltd., Jai Mata Di Dal Udyog, Prakash Udyog, Maa Sheetla Rice Mill, Rock Hill Hi-Tech Cement Pvt. Ltd., Shiva Polytubes Pvt. Ltd., Mother India Agro Food Pvt. Ltd., Sarraf Real Infra Pvt. Ltd. and Artikon Unit-II, among others.
Officials said necessary steps had been initiated to facilitate the disposal of pending cases submitted by these companies.
