Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced that applications for the State Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 will now open on September 19, following a week-long delay caused by technical problems.
The process had initially been scheduled to begin on September 11 but was suspended the following day after the board cited system issues. On September 13, BSEB confirmed that the delay was temporary and that revised dates would be issued shortly.
The STET is a state-level eligibility test for aspiring teachers in Bihar, covering both primary and secondary levels. It is regarded as a key pathway for candidates seeking government teaching posts across the state.
Applications must be submitted online through the official BSEB website, with the board warning that late submissions will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to monitor official updates closely and ensure they complete the process within the given timeframe.
Education officials have urged applicants to begin preparations early, recommending the use of past papers and a structured study plan to maximise their chances of success.
