Patna: Bihar is likely to witness continued weather activity on September 28, with rain forecast at some places in the northwestern part of the state and isolated showers possible elsewhere.
According to the Patna Meteorological Centre, some districts in northwest Bihar may receive rainfall, while one or two places in other parts of the state may also see showers.
Why Is Bihar’s Weather Changing?
Several weather systems are currently influencing conditions over Bihar.
A low-pressure area over north-central Uttar Pradesh remained active on September 27, along with an associated cyclonic circulation. The system is expected to move westwards during the next 12 hours and gradually weaken.
Another important system is a north-south trough extending from Bihar through Jharkhand and Odisha to the west-central Bay of Bengal. This trough is also contributing to weather activity over the state.
Meanwhile, a low-pressure area over coastal Myanmar and adjoining areas is expected to move towards the north Andaman Sea and neighbouring areas in the coming days.
The combined influence of these systems may keep rainfall and thunderstorm activity going over parts of Bihar.
Bihar Weather Forecast For September 28
The Patna Meteorological Centre has forecast rain at some places in northwest Bihar on September 28.
In the remaining parts of the state, isolated rainfall is possible at one or two places. Residents in areas experiencing thunderstorms have been advised to remain cautious during adverse weather conditions.
The weather systems are expected to gradually weaken or change position, but their influence may continue to produce localised rain and thunderstorms across Bihar.
