Rainfall is expected to remain unlikely until October 15, while maximum and minimum temperatures are not forecast to witness any significant changes during this period.
Monsoon Withdrawal Line Passing Through Supaul
The southwest monsoon has not yet completely withdrawn from Bihar. According to weather scientists, the monsoon withdrawal line is currently passing through Supaul district.
Favourable conditions are likely to develop for the withdrawal of the monsoon from some more parts of eastern India over the next three to four days. However, the date for the complete withdrawal of the monsoon from the remaining parts of Bihar has not yet been specified.
Patna May Witness Partly Cloudy Skies
In the state capital, Patna, weather conditions are expected to remain generally normal on Saturday. No rain alert has been issued for the city.
Partly cloudy skies are possible, but the likelihood of rainfall remains low. The impact of daytime heat may continue, with no significant change expected in maximum or minimum temperatures.
Weather Systems Present, but Little Rain Expected
According to the weather update, a trough extends from north Bangladesh through sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh to Telangana. An upper-air cyclonic circulation is also active over eastern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas.
Despite these weather systems, rainfall activity is expected to remain weak across Bihar.
