Southwest Monsoon Withdrawal Continues
The withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from Bihar is progressing, according to the Meteorological Centre. The current withdrawal line passes through Supaul district.
Favourable conditions are expected to develop over some additional parts of eastern India for further withdrawal of the southwest monsoon during the next two days. This could allow the withdrawal process to advance across the remaining parts of Bihar.
Little or No Rain Recorded Across Most Districts
Most districts in Bihar did not receive rainfall during the past 24 hours. Shekhpura recorded 1 mm of rainfall, while rainfall was reported as zero in the remaining available district data.
With little rainfall and sustained sunshine, dry weather conditions are prevailing across the state. No specific rainfall-related warning has been issued for the coming days, and daytime temperatures may continue to make conditions feel warm in several areas.
