Patna: In a special gesture for Raksha Bandhan, the Bihar government, through the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC), has made bus travel free for all women. This free travel facility is available today and will continue until tomorrow, allowing women to travel to their brothers’ homes to celebrate the festival.
The BSRTC is offering this service on all its routes across the state. This includes ordinary, deluxe, and Volvo buses, as well as the special pink buses for women. This initiative covers all six of BSRTC’s regional offices in Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, and Purnia.
