Patna: Aishwarya Raj, the wife of BJP MLA Vishal Prashant from Tarari, Bhojpur, has been crowned Mrs Bihar 2025. The 24-year-old won the title in her very first beauty pageant, beating 13 other finalists in the grand finale held on Monday. Women from different districts of Bihar between the ages of 21 and 55 had taken part in the contest.
Aishwarya comes from a well-known political family. Her husband, Vishal Prashant, became an MLA after winning the Tarari by-election. Her father-in-law, Sunil Pandey, is a former four-time MLA and a known strongman in Bihar’s political circles. He has been in the news in the past for various criminal charges but still holds a strong influence in the region.
Aishwarya did her early education in Patna and later completed her graduation from Delhi University. She also has a master’s degree in finance. Before her marriage, she worked for a multinational company and was even selected for a job with a big airline. She has also represented Bihar in national-level basketball and athletics tournaments. Today, she is the mother of a three-and-a-half-year-old son.
Aishwarya is very active on social media, with more than 28,000 followers on Instagram. She is known for her love of luxury cars, travel, fitness, and making short videos. During the Tarari by-election, she used her online presence to campaign for her husband and connect with women voters. Her recent win as Mrs Bihar adds a new chapter to her growing popularity and public life.
