Patna: Several trains connecting Bihar with New Delhi will operate on altered routes or revised schedules between September 11 and September 13 due to changes in railway operations linked to the BRICS Summit in the national capital.
The changes will affect trains travelling to and from Bihar, including the Sampoorna Kranti Express, Tejas Rajdhani Express, Shramjeevi Express, Magadh Express, Vaishali Express and Amrit Bharat Express. Passengers travelling during this period have been advised to check the latest status of their trains before leaving for the station.
Sampoorna Kranti Diverted On September 11
On September 11, the 12394 Sampoorna Kranti Express will operate via Delhi Junction and Sahibabad instead of its usual route from New Delhi.
The 12310 Tejas Rajdhani Express will also depart from New Delhi 50 minutes later than its scheduled time on the same day.
September 12 To See Major Changes
A larger number of Bihar-linked trains will be affected on September 12.
The 12392 New Delhi–Rajgir Shramjeevi Express and 20802 New Delhi–Islampur Magadh Express will operate on alternative routes.
The 12562 New Delhi–Jaynagar Swatantrata Senani Express and 15566 New Delhi–Lalitgram Vaishali Express will also be diverted.
The 20503 Dibrugarh–New Delhi Rajdhani Express will operate via Sahibabad, Delhi Shahdara and Delhi Junction.
On the same day, the 12310 Tejas Rajdhani Express will leave New Delhi 15 minutes behind schedule, while the departure of the 22362 New Delhi–Rajendra Nagar Amrit Bharat Express will be changed by 35 minutes. The 04072 New Delhi–Supaul Special will also operate with a 40-minute change in its schedule.
Two Trains Diverted On September 13
On September 13, the 12559 Banaras–New Delhi Shiv Ganga Express and the 12581 Banaras–New Delhi Superfast Express will also operate on alternative routes.
The railway has made the changes as operational arrangements at New Delhi station are being modified during the BRICS Summit period.
Passengers travelling between Delhi and Bihar from September 11 to 13 have been advised to check their train’s latest route and departure time before beginning their journey.
Railway passengers can verify the latest operational status through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or the railway helpline 139, as changes to routes and timings may also be revised depending on operational requirements.
