Patna: BUIDCO (Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd) managing director Animesh Kumar Parashar unfurled the national flag at the corporation’s headquarters on Friday, marking the 80th Independence Day. The ceremony began with the national anthem and was attended by the corporation’s officials and employees.
Parashar extended Independence Day greetings to the staff and recalled the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who helped secure India’s independence.
Focus on public service
Parashar urged employees to follow the values and ideals of the freedom struggle and contribute to building a strong, self-reliant and developed India.
He also stressed the need to make younger generations aware of the significance of Independence Day and the stories of the freedom struggle.
Highlighting BUIDO’s role in Bihar’s urban development, Parashar said employees should discharge their responsibilities with transparency, dedication and a commitment to public service.
Senior officials, officers and employees of the corporation attended the event.
