Buxar: Buxar district in Bihar will finally have its own Postal Superintendent after waiting for 34 years. Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has approved the appointment along with creating a separate Postal Division for Buxar.
This decision is very important for people in Buxar. Since the district was formed in 1991 after separating from Bhojpur, it never had its own Postal Superintendent. People had to travel to Ara in Bhojpur for all postal complaints and work. Many citizens and groups raised this issue for years, but no action was taken.
The situation changed when Union Minister Scindia took up the matter seriously. He promised quick action, and now the official order has been issued. People in Buxar have thanked him, saying this is a matter of their self-respect and daily needs.
With the new Postal Superintendent, local postal services will become faster and more efficient. Complaints will be resolved quickly, and rural areas will get better services. Officials say this is not just an appointment but a step towards fulfilling public trust in the government.
