Patna: Students across India are anxiously awaiting the Class 10 results of the Central Board of Secondary Education, with discussions intensifying in schools and coaching centres.
Sources indicate that the results are likely to be declared around April 14, 2026, although the board has not yet made an official announcement. Students and parents continue to monitor updates closely, as decisions regarding further studies will depend on the outcome.
The declaration of results may be delayed this year due to the ongoing Class 12 examinations, which are scheduled to continue until April 10. As a result, the evaluation of answer sheets is expected to take additional time.
Unlike previous years, when Class 10 and Class 12 results were announced simultaneously, the board may release the Class 10 results first this time.
Once declared, students will be able to check their results online through the official CBSE website by entering their roll number, date of birth and school number. The result will be displayed on the screen and can be downloaded for future reference.
Digital marksheets will also be available through DigiLocker. Students can access their documents by logging in with their credentials, entering the required access code and verifying their mobile number through OTP. The marksheet will be available in the issued documents section.
For those without internet access, results can also be obtained via SMS by sending the required details to 7738299899. This option is expected to benefit students in rural areas.
In cities such as Patna, many students have already begun planning their next academic steps, including choosing streams such as science, commerce or arts, as well as preparing for competitive examinations.
With the admission process set to begin soon after the results are declared, the coming weeks are likely to be crucial for students and their families.
