Rajgir/Patna: The administration of the Rajgir Zoo Safari and Nature Safari has introduced a new ‘Priority Package’ aimed at improving convenience and offering a comprehensive experience for visitors.
Priced at Rs 2,000 for adults and Rs 1,000 for children, the package provides access to all major attractions across both safari zones through a single ticket. It includes entry to the zoo safari, 180-degree theatre, aviary, safari rides, and Nature Safari attractions such as the glass bridge, suspension bridge, zip lining, zip biking, rifle shooting, archery, wall climbing and electric vehicle rides. Zip lining and zip biking are not available for children under the package.
In comparison, general tickets are priced at Rs 250 for offline purchase and Rs 750 for online bookings, but require separate queues and bookings for different attractions.
Officials said the new package is designed to eliminate long waiting times, allowing tourists to access multiple experiences without standing in separate lines. Tickets are available both online and at counters, with only 20 tickets per slot and a maximum of 40 tickets issued daily across two time slots — 10am and 12pm.
Visitors opting for the package will also be accompanied by trained guides providing information in both Hindi and English.
According to Ram Sundar M, director of the safari, and Rajkumar M, divisional forest officer of Nalanda, the initiative is expected to benefit families, foreign tourists and visitors to the Buddhist circuit by saving time while enhancing the overall experience.
With the onset of summer, the administration has also introduced additional visitor amenities, including coolers, ORS solutions and cold drinking water at waiting areas. Shelters have been set up at key نقاط such as bus waiting areas, entrance plazas and sheds to improve comfort.

Growing Popularity Among Tourists
Attractions such as the glass bridge, zip lining, zip biking and archery continue to draw large crowds, with daily footfall ranging between 1,000 and 1,200 visitors.
Officials said more than 137,855 tourists have visited the safari and its attractions over the past three months. To facilitate movement within the premises, bus services and auto-rickshaws have been made available for visitors.
Authorities said the introduction of the priority package reflects efforts to position Rajgir as a more organised and tourist-friendly destination, combining wildlife, adventure and convenience within a single experience.
