Patna: Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram) president Chirag Paswan marked the Chhath Puja festival with his family in Patna, offering prayers to the setting sun.
Speaking on the occasion, Paswan reflected on the personal significance of the festival. “Chhath brings back many memories for me. My grandmother and sisters celebrated Chhath, and now I am teaching these traditions to the new generation,” he said.

Paswan also invoked the goddess Chhathi Maiya in his prayers for Bihar’s future, expressing hope that the state would witness a wave of development in the coming years and emerge as a developed region.
