Child Care Institutions in Patna Inspected to Ensure Welfare and Development

Patna: Under the direction of District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh, all child care institutions in Patna were inspected by the District Inspection Committee between December 19 and December 21. These institutions included Arunodaya Vishisht Adoption Institute, Srijani Vishisht Adoption Institute, Bihta Children Home Units 1 and 2, Nishant Girls Home Bihta Unit 1, Mokama Girls Home, Apna Ghar Children Home, Asha Kiran Girls Home, and the Supervision and Special Home at Gayghat.

During the inspections, emphasis was placed on ensuring the health, safety, and all-round development of the children residing in these institutions. Superintendents were instructed to maintain all facilities, address the needs of the children with care, and take proactive measures for their overall growth and well-being.

The inspection committee also reviewed the current status of facilities and services provided by these institutions. Officials from health, education, police, and other relevant departments participated in the inspections to ensure a comprehensive evaluation and proper coordination.

The initiative aims to strengthen the functioning of child care institutions in the district and prioritize the welfare of children, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment for their development.
