Patna: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has achieved 100% placement for its PGDM 2024-26 batch, with all 120 students who participated in the final placement process securing employment.
The highest annual salary package secured by a student was Rs 11 lakh, while the average Cost to Company (CTC) stood at Rs 6.81 lakh and the median CTC at Rs 6.45 lakh per annum.
51 companies participated
A total of 51 companies participated in this year’s placement drive, with 41 making final job offers. The placement campaign also saw 29 companies recruiting from CIMP for the first time.
ICICI Bank emerged as the largest recruiter during the placement season.
Other prominent recruiters included Reliance Consumer Products, Indigo Paints, Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Mission, Tata Advanced Systems, Grant Thornton Bharat, Havells India, Colgate-Palmolive, Asian Paints, HDFC and ITC.

CIMP students secured opportunities across a wide range of sectors, including:

Students were recruited for roles including Sales and Marketing, Retail and Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Development, Analytics, Consulting, Relationship Management, Project Management, Human Resources and Management Trainee positions.
The diversity of roles and sectors reflects the range of management skills developed by the students and their preparedness for industry requirements.
Institute credits industry engagement and skill development
CIMP Director Prof. Rana Singh attributed the 100% placement result to the combined efforts of students, faculty members, alumni and industry partners.
He said the achievement goes beyond a placement statistic and reflects the confidence and trust that industry has placed in CIMP students.
Placement Chairperson Prof. Vibhash Kumar said the institute’s sustained focus on placement preparation, industry engagement and skill development had played a key role in helping students compete successfully in the job market.
