Patna: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) welcomed its newly admitted students with Freshers’ Carnival 2026, a celebration aimed at introducing the incoming batch to the institute’s academic culture, creativity and campus life.
The event began with an inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, who encouraged students to participate actively in academic, cultural and extracurricular activities while maintaining the institution’s values and discipline.
He urged the new entrants to make the most of their time at CIMP and prepare themselves for successful professional careers.
Cultural Performances Take Centre Stage
The carnival featured a series of cultural performances showcasing the talents of students.
The programme opened with a welcome dance by the group Beautiful Minds, followed by a flute recital by Manish Riju. Students, including Anand, Supriya, Aditi and Riya Krishna, also presented solo, duet and group performances.

Nabeel Ahmed And Khushi Kumari Crowned
One of the highlights of the event was the Mr. and Miss Fresher 2026 competition.
Participants took part in a fashion show before facing an interactive panel round judged by Prof. Santosh, Prof. Nitish and Prof. Rajni.
Following the competition, Nabeel Ahmed was declared Mr. Fresher 2026, while Khushi Kumari was crowned Miss Fresher 2026.
The winners were felicitated by Director Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, after which a cake-cutting ceremony marked the beginning of the new students’ journey at the institute.

Focus On Leadership And Campus Life
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the newly crowned Mr. and Miss Fresher, who expressed gratitude to the Director, faculty members, judges, the Cultural Committee and all participants.
According to the institute, the Freshers’ Carnival reflects CIMP’s emphasis on nurturing leadership, creativity and a vibrant campus culture while helping new students build friendships and begin their academic journey with confidence.
