Patna: Jibesh Kumar, Minister of Urban Development and Housing Department, said on Thursday that the government has placed special emphasis on cleanliness, resulting in cities becoming cleaner day by day. He added that continuous efforts are being made to improve the cleanliness ranking of cities under various national initiatives.
“Our government has a special focus on cleanliness and that is why our cities are getting cleaner day by day,” Jibesh said. “We are constantly making efforts to improve the cleanliness ranking.”
The minister noted that urban local bodies are being encouraged to maintain public spaces better, manage waste scientifically, and raise awareness among citizens about cleanliness norms to sustain progress.
