Patna: The dispute between educator Roshan Anand and Khan Sir has taken a fresh turn after a video allegedly showing cow dung being thrown outside Gyan Bindu Academy in Patna surfaced on social media.
The video has gone viral, prompting allegations that individuals associated with Khan Sir were involved in the incident. However, no official confirmation has been issued by the police regarding the identity of those seen in the video, and the claims remain unverified.
Viral Video Adds New Dimension to Ongoing Dispute
The latest development comes amid an already tense situation involving supporters of both coaching institutes.
According to reports, cow dung was thrown outside Gyan Bindu Academy, the coaching centre run by Roshan Anand. The incident has triggered fresh reactions online, with supporters from both sides exchanging accusations.
Police have not publicly confirmed any link between the incident and Khan Sir or his associates.
FIR Registered Against Khan Sir
The controversy follows the registration of a case against Khan Sir by the Kadamkuan police station after a separate viral video allegedly showed firing outside the Khan Global Studies campus in Patna’s Musallahpur area.
Police arrested two bodyguards identified as Pradeep Kumar and Shaleshwar Prasad after the video surfaced online. Both were produced before a court on Friday.
Investigators said the 38-second video appeared to show two to three rounds being fired from a modified .315 rifle. The arrested bodyguards are residents of Mainpuri and Kasganj districts in Uttar Pradesh.
Officials have stated that an FIR has been registered in connection with the incident, and further investigation is underway.
Violence Reported on June 2
The incident that triggered the police action occurred on the night of June 2 near Kisan Cold Storage in the Musallahpur area, which falls under the jurisdiction of Kadamkuan police station.
According to police records, a large crowd allegedly created a disturbance and pelted stones at the Khan Global Studies campus. Claims of gunfire also emerged during the unrest.
During the incident, Chunchun Kumar, a staff member and security guard at Khan Global Studies, sustained a head injury.
Arrests and Student Protests
Following the violence, police registered a case and arrested three individuals, including the director of Gyan Bindu Academy. The accused were subsequently sent to judicial custody.
Students associated with the coaching institute have demanded their release and have questioned the police action.
Authorities have said the investigation is continuing and that all aspects of the incident, including the viral videos circulating on social media, are being examined.
