Patna: The Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist), a key ally in Bihar’s Mahagathbandhan coalition, has released its list of candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election 2025. The Left party will contest 20 seats across the two election phases, representing a mix of Scheduled Caste and general category constituencies.
In the first phase, CPI-ML has announced 14 candidates from prominent seats including Bhore, Jiradei, Darauli, Daraonda, Kalyanpur, Warisnagar, Rajgir, Digha, and Phulwari.
For the second phase, to be held on 11 November, the party has declared six more names from Sikta, Pipra (Supaul), Balrampur, Karakat, Arwal, and Ghosi.

Party sources said the candidate selection aimed to strike a balance between experience, social representation and regional strength.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also released its third list of 50 candidates, following two earlier rounds. Notable names include Shashi Bhushan Tiwari from Lauria, Arjun Kumar Sinha from Bettiah, Gayasuddin Samaini from Sugauli and Ranjan Kumar from Samastipur.
